Hours after an IED blast rocked an Indian restaurant in Canada's Mississauga, a suburb of Toronto, the police today released CCTV footage of the suspects.
Some 18 people have been rushed to a hospital after the blast at the Bombay Bhel restaurant, out of which three are said to be in critical condition, the Peel Regional Paramedic Service said.
Tweeting from its account, the Peel Regional Police said,
2 suspects attended the scene, detonated an Improvised Explosive Device within the restaurant. Several injured were taken to local hospital and 3 in critical condition were taken to a Toronto Trauma Centre. pic.twitter.com/yzCT59UVN6
Releasing the CCTV grab, the cops described the two male suspects and sought public help in identifying the accused.
The first male suspect has been described as 5'10 ft tall, stocky-build, mid-20s, light skin and wearing a dark blue jeans, a hoodie pulled over his head and a baseball cap with light grey peak.
The second male suspect whereas has been described as 5'9-5'10 tall, fair skin, thin-built and wearing faded blue jeans, dark zip-up hoodie pulled over his face, grey t-shirt and dark coloured skate shoes.
Both the suspects had a cloth covering their face.
The blast occurred just after 10:30 p.m., media reported. There was no word on the cause.
