One of the most successful and loving stars of the Hindi film industry, Sanjay Dutt is a keen buff of social media. The 59-year-old actor keeps his fans well informed by sharing his life’s special and regular moments on the social platform.
On May 25, Sanjay made a special post on his personal Insta handle and posted a throwback image with his dad and renowned superstar Sunil Dutt.
May 25th is Sanjay’s father death anniversary and the image shared by the actor on such a touching day speaks volumes about how much the superstar misses his dad.
The actor captioned the pic as, “Wish you could see me as a free man. Love you… Miss you”
When Sanju baba came out of prison during the year 2016, he stated, “To be free is the most amazing feeling. For 23 years I have been waiting for this moment… for freedom. I did everything (followed the law). It’s a feeling that will take a while to sink in. I miss my father today, I wish he was alive to see this day…if he would have been (alive), he would have been the happiest person.”
The late veteran star Sunil Dutt had a memorable career in Bollywood. His flicks such as Milan, Mother India, Waqt, Padosan, and many others still got mentioned in the top-notch works of the Hindi cinema. The actor lost his life owing to heart failure at his house in the city of Mumbai. His last movie had him donning the character of Sanjay’s reel life dad in Rajkumar Hirani’s super duper hit project, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.
While talking on his parents, Sanjay Dutt had once stated at an occasion, “I miss my parents, I miss my father and mother. If they would have been here they would have been proud of me, I guess. There is no one bigger than your parents. I miss them.”
Audiences will get a chance to witness a side of actor’s bond with his mom and dad in his forthcoming biographical movie, Sanju.
In the film, actor Ranbir Kapoor will be playing the character of Sanjay. Superstar Paresh Rawal will be witnessed donning the character of legendary star Sunil Dutt, while Manisha Koirala will be seen as Nargis Dutt. The biographical movie also has Sonam Kapoor, Karishma Tanna, Dia Mirza, Jim Sarbh, Anushka Sharma, Boman Irani, Tabu, Vicky Kaushal to name a few.
Helmed and penned by Rajkumar Hirani, ‘Sanju’ will hit theaters on June 29.
