Electrician’s Son Bags $100,000 Package In An American Company
They say that where there’s a will there is a way. If one has the will power to achieve something, nobody can stop you. Barriers like caste,  religion, gender can not stop you from achieving your dreams. And if you have the adequate talent and are ready to put in the efforts and hard work, there’s no stopping for you.
One such example is a guy who has grabbed a whopping package of $100,000 (which means Rs 70 lakh) in an American firm despite financial difficulties in family. Mohammad Aamir Ali is the son of an electrician who studies at Jamia Milia Islamia in Delhi. He is the only diploma holder to bag such a  big package.
Ali scored good in JMI board but was unable to clear the B.tech course despite trying for three consecutive years. Moreover, he couldn’t do the architecture course at NIT, Jharkhand due to financial issues. He finally took admission in diploma in mechanical engineering in 2015. he had developed a theory to charge electric vehicles. Speaking about the same to Times Of India, Ali said, Charging infrastructure for electric vehicles is a major challenge in India. I developed a theory. If I succeed, the cost of charging vehicles will be almost zero. But initially, my teachers didn’t believe me as it was a new area of work. However, assistant professor Waqar Alam finally realised the potential of my work and guided me. I made a prototype of my research and showcased it in the Talimi Mela of Jamia.”
Ali had sent his expression of interest to Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The director of CIE promoted the project and uploaded on University Website as well. American automobile company, Frisson Motor Werks, Charlotte, North Carolina was impressed by his project who then contacted Ali through the university and offered him a job as a battery management system engineer.
Ali’s father is overwhelmed to see the success of his son. He recalls, that Ali used to question him on several things about electricity and electric equipment and despite being in same profession for years, he was unable to answer most of them.
