Our Indian Cricket Team made a stunning comeback by finally beating England in the third Test match at Trent Bridge. The men in blue sealed the game at 203 runs. After the match, Team India’s captain Virat Kohli dedicated their victory to the Kerala people and the crowd in the stands applauded him for his gesture.
Team India also donated their match fees to the relief efforts in Kerala according to ABP News. The Indian players are being paid a whopping amount of Rs 15 Lakhs per Test match and if the total amount is calculated, they will be donating a massive amount of Rs 2 Crore approximately.

Kohli said while speaking after the match, “We, as a team, want to dedicate this win to the people in Kerala. This is our bit we can do as the Indian cricket team. A tough time there.”

People in India are making their ways to help Kerala in each and every possible way. Donating money, buying food from Amazon which directly delivers to the suffering ones in Kerala. Bollywood celebs, politician, businessmen, also donated a huge amount of money to the CM’s relief fund for Kerala. One can also donate through PayTM where a particular link has been made for the donation so that everyone can add money to the relief funds.
Cricketer Sanju Samson (he made his Twenty20 International debut for India against Zimbabwe on 19 July 2015) is the one who started this donation with Rs. 15 Lakhs to the Chief Minister Relief Fund and the amount was handed over to the Kerala CM by his father and brother as he was in Vijayawada to play.
Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar reportedly donated Rs 10 Lakhs and B’town star Sushant Singh Rajput donated Rs. 1 crore.
During this time, the UK based Sikh Charity, Khalsa Aid, known for their humanitarian work in the situation like this and many other reached there to support the people with basic needs. And from Army to ordinary man in Kerala, everyone is at rescuing people from different places.
