Underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim has taken his last breath in Karachi after he suffered a massive heart attack. Sources suggest that the heart attack was so huge that he failed to sustain it. Though his men claim that he was doing fine, as per the reports he suffered a massive heart attack and was in a critical state.
Dawood was suffering from ill heath from couple of years now. He has got gangrene in his legs and was being treated for it at his home in the Clifton area of Karachi. Dawood’s right hand, Chhota Shakeel said that Dawood was not dead.
It is heard that he was feeling unwell and was often visiting a hospital in Karachi. The news of his critical state came into limelight after he suffered a heart attack and was hospitalised.
Nevertheless, it is also heard that he was fine and was not in the critical state. According to the sources, Dawood is suffering from gangrene of limbs and also suffered a severe stroke in the past. It is also heard that he used to visit the Karachi hospital often for medical aid.
Dawood Ibrahim Suffers a massive heart attack
The 61-year-old don, who fled India in the 1990s and said to be settled in Pakistan since then was last seen at a party at former Pakistan cricketer Javed Miandad’s house on April 19. Coming to the news of his death, he was admitted to the Aga Khan hospital in Karachi at around 7 PM on Friday night as per the sources.
It was said that Dawood complained about uneasiness while taking breath at around 5 PM and around 5:30 PM his condition worsened and the doctors were called home. He was immediately taken to the hospital where a team of expert doctors treated him. Nevertheless, his condition wasn’t stable as he suffered a critical heart attack.
The Aga Khan Hospital where the don was admitted is a top hospital in Pakistan. The hospital was kept on high security and no one was allowed into the hospital. Dawood residence is quite near to the hospital. It is heard that Dawood visited the hospital just two weeks ago for a checkup.
Pakistan however denied any such news of Dawood staying in the country as always. Dawood Ibrahim is one of the most wanted criminal in the country and an accused in the 1993 Mumbai bombings.
