Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2, the successor to the original Redmi Pro is rumoured to start at 1,599 Yuan (approximately Rs 16,000). The new pricing details courtesy of online retailer Taobao hints at the top-end variant being priced at 1,799 Yuan (approximately Rs 18,000). The new pricing is inline with previous leaks.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 is rumoured to come in two different storage options: 4GB RAM, 64GB storage on the base model and 6GB RAM, 128GB storage on the higher-end configuration. The smartphone is also said to feature a 5.5-inch full HD display and MediaTek Helio P25 SoC, as opposed to Snapdragon 660 rumoured in the previous leak.
The Redmi Pro 2 is said to offer a dual 12MP rear camera setup with dual pixel autofocus. Other details include 4500mAh battery, a significant jump from 4050mAh battery found on last year's model. The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 was initially rumoured to launch at the end of March but the company has probably deferred the launch.
