If you have watched Baahubali 2, we are sure you want to watch it again due to the wonderful cinematic experience it has offered, right? The makers had spent 450 crores on the movie and the grandeur was reflected in each and every scene.
Collections started pouring in like crazy right from day 1; in 8 days, Baahubali 2 (All versions) has become the highest grosser of all time by collecting around 900 crores. The characters of Baahubali, Bhallaladeva and Katappa are very powerful and while watching the movie, one question surely pops up in our mind i.e. “What if Baahubali was made in Bollywood?”; in spite of being a non-Bollywood film, the SS Rajamouli movie has gained a lot of popularity; however, if if it was made in B-Town, the response would have been double, don’t you feel so?
Imagine the star cast of Bollywood version; it’s so exciting to even imagine this. Instead of being disappointed, let’s have some fun by replacing the actual actors with that of Bollywood.
1) Hrithik Roshan as Baahubali!
Baahubali’s replacement has to be world’s 3rd most handsome man, Hrithik Roshan and we know you will 100 percent agree with us. Both, Prabhas and Hrithik have bodies to die for; when we talk about a perfect muscular body, Hrithik Roshan is the only name that comes to our mind. He’s just perfect for playing Baahubali’s role.
2) Anupam Kher as Katappa!
Anupam Kher and Sathyaraj (Kattappa) look quite similar, obviously due to that “Baldness”. Any filmmaker in Bollywood wouldn’t have thought twice before casting Anupam for Katappa’s role. Moreover, he is known for his class acting, due to which he would have done complete justice to that role.
3) Supriya Pathak as Sivagami!
When we talk of Sivagami’s replacement, no one can be better than Supriya Pathak. She had played a powerful role in Ramleela and considering that, she would have easily stepped into the shoes of Ramya Krishnan (Sivagami).
4) Vidya Balan as Devsena!
Vidya Balan has proved her mettle in various films like Kahani, Paa, Bhool Bhullaiya and others; she is a versatile actress and can fit in any role easily. So, when it comes to Baahubali 2, Vidya Balan would be a great substitute for Anushka Shetty (Devsena).
5) Sanjay Dutt as Bhallaldeva!
Sanjay Dutt is popular for his villainous roles in movies like Vaastav, Jung, Musafir, Khalnaayak and Agneepath; so if Rana Daggubati (Bhallaldev) has to be replaced, Sanjay Dutt’s name comes to mind instantly. Moreover, the physique matches too.
6) Deepika Padukone as Avantika!
Deepika Padukone would have been the best replacement for Tammannah Bhatia (Avantika); both Tammannah and Deepika are sleek and share similar features. So we couldn’t think of any other name for Avantika’s role.
7) Rishi Kapoor as Bijjaladeva!
Rishi Kapoor is multi-talented and can play any given role; Chintuji is as effective as Nassar (Bijalladev) and could have fulfilled these requirements really well.
Whatever it is, there’s no replacement for the director SS Rajamouli; he’s simply the best and no one make Baahubali better than him.
