Looks like the inauguration of the biggest sports festival in India has already started off with a bang. Though the IPL season has much time to arrive the first day of the auction at Bengaluru has already grabbed eyeballs. The willow skills and the fiery pace magic of some youngsters were not left unnoticed by the team officials. This time the auction came in a huge way as the teams could only retain few leaving their other players but a light in the tunnel was the use of ‘Right To Match’.
Among all the drama and retentions and unsold players, every year IPL brings into the limelight some uncapped national and international players who prove to be great finds at the end. 1. Syed Khaleel Ahmed(Fast Bowler-SRH-3 Crore)
He was robbed in by SRH for three crores. Well, if you are guessing who he is then let me tell you he plays for Rajasthan in Ranji Trophies and also represented India in 2016 U-19 matches. He also ripped apart the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy as second highest wicket-taker with an economy rate of 6.77. He idolizes Zaheer Khan. So are you ready for this raw Rajasthani talent?

He took 15 wickets in his 10 matches ripping apart the opposition. He played for West Indies Under-19s three times but he wishes to play for England. Well, a long way to go!

3. Ricky Bhui(Batsman- SRH – 20 Lakhs)
He scored an unbeaten hundred on List A debut and also another unbeaten ton in T20 debut. Ricky Kannakumar Bhui thus couldn’t be ignored by SRH officials. He was a part of 2016 U19 World Cup Team, though he didn’t shine much but came back with a bounce playing for Andhra in Domestic circuits.

4. D’Arcy Short (All Rounder- RR – 4 Crores)
He was a star of Hobert Hurricane team in BBL; He was purchased by Rajasthan Royals for 4 crores. He got very famous after he hit two 90s and one ton. He scored 406 runs from just six matches. He is also known for his 122 not out from 69 balls.

5. Navdeep Saini( Bowler- RCB – 3 Crore)
The new pacer for RCB is all set to start his journey.He picked up 29 wickets in this Ranji season and bowled at 140 kmph consistently. He was spotted by the officials in his early days and was thus given a chance to play for Delhi though he couldn’t pay for his classes. Gautam Gambhir, the Delhi Captain, got impressed by this youngster. Saini, who was robbed in for 3 crores idolizes Mitchell Johnson and Brett Lee.

6. Kulwant Khejroliya( Batsman- RCB- 85 Lakh)
His parents were unaware of the fact that he was practising game in Delhi’s LB Shastri club. He in his earlier days worked as a waiter in Goa. The left arm pacer made his first-class debut in the year 2017. This time he is a part of the Virat Kohli led team RCB though last year he was robbed in by Mumbai Indians.

7. Prithvi Shaw(Batsman- DD- 1.2 Crore)
The current captain leading the Indian U19 World Cup Team at New Zealand didn’t go unnoticed in this season’s bid and was robbed in by DD for 1.2 crores. In his first five matches in the first-class debut, he already scored 4 centuries. Yes, rub your eyes! 4, 120, 71, 44, 154, 31, 123, 5, 105- first class scores! He started playing cricket at the age of 3 when according to his father ‘ he was smaller than the stumps’. The God of Cricket Tendulkar once just sat in the stadium to watch him play- what else you need?
8. Shubhman Gill( Batsman-KKR- 1.8 Crore)
It’s now time for the Indian U19 Cricket Team Vice-captain, who was robbed in by KKR for 1.8 crores. In 2015, playing for under 16 from Mohali he scored 351 off 277 balls against Amritsar and 405 against Ropar. As talented and stylish he is with his bat, he broke Don Bradman’s record in the ongoing U19 World Cup. In 5 matches he scored 3 half tons completing 1000 runs in Youth One Day. To surprise more, the runs came at a rate of 101.6 but Bradman’s rate was just 99.94! Now that he is knighted he is sure to shine!
