Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were blessed by the whole nation when they announced their wedding. Wishes were poured from all her fans, well-wishers, relatives and friends too. Alia Bhatt was one of them to wish the beautiful couple but hard luck she was too late. The actress also didn’t attend any festivities of Anushka’s marriage due to work commitments.
But at a recent function, when Alia got a chance to share the stage with the newly married Anushka, she decided to gift her something special. The two divas were already rocking as they shared the stage and Alia crooned Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s title track for Anushka in her melodious voice and said that this is her wedding present.

Anushka was left in awe with Alia’s lovely gift and was all smiles. Even the crowd couldn’t stop themselves from applauding Alia. At the end, Alia also apologised to Anushka for not attending her post-wedding function.
Anushka and Alia both looked extremely beautiful in Anita Dongre’s traditional outfits. While Alia chose a monochrome Ilana gown with tree and bird motifs, Anushka, on the other hand, opted for a heavily embroidered, bright yellow Anarkali suit.
But we are sure Alia’s beautiful gift must have definitely made Anushka’s day!
Talking about their work front, Anushka has a series of films lined up starting with Pari which will be releasing on 9th Feb, then she will be seen in Zero which also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Anushka will also be seen in Sui Dhaga: Made In India opposite Varun Dhawan. On the other side, Alia will be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi opposite Vicky Kaushal, she has also signed Dharma Productions’ big-budget film Brahmastr for which she will start shooting soon. Thye film also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan.
