Star Plus’ popular and long-running prime time show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein began in the year 2013 and ever since it has been with high TRPs. The show is based on a novel ‘Custody’ written by Manju Kapoor. The show stars Karam Patel and Divyanka Tripati on the lead roles. While Raman (Karan Patel) was suffering from heartbreak and Pihu (Ruhanika Dhawan) needed a mother’s love, Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) came into their life. The daily soap has won many hearts with its ultimate script and acting. Now it has been 5 years since the show started and the scriptwriters have taken the story to a different track which is being disliked greatly by the fans of the show.
Fans even went to an extent that they have started an online campaign on Twitter asking for the shutdown of the serial. With the tag #EndYHM, people are sharing statuses demanding an end to the show. Though the actors and other people associated with the show ignored it, the lady producer of the show Ekta Kapoor did make a serious notice of it. She is a pro in production, but never knew that she is a pro in shutting the trolls too. She definitely knew how to give it back to the trolls.

At the end what Ekta said was totally right. The TRP of the show decides it’s fate of being aired or not. If the viewers stopped watching it, automatically the TRP will see a drop which in turn compel the channel to take down the show.
Earlier at the music launch of Veere Di Wedding, the stars were questioned about their opinion on high fuel price. Ekta replied, “Even if petrol prices are at its highest, men will take women for drives & in today’s time, women will take men for drives. This isn’t the movie that you’re going to stop watching as at this time you need to spend less on driving & more in theatre.”
It didn’t go well with some neitezens for which she tweeted“I love it🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩!!! Wil b giving my trolls so much more !!! I have just come on Twitter ! This is d beginning”
