May 19 marked as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Royal wedding. They exchanged vows at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle in the presence of 600 guests and became the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. It was no less than a fairy tale wedding.
Every ritual that tied Meghan and Prince Harry together forever was every bit unforgettable. But, Meghan Markle’s parents Doria Ragland and Thomas Markle’s wedding were full of drama.
Meghan’s uncle, Johnson told that Doria and Thomas tied the knot on December 23, 1979 at a faux Indian temple. At the time of marriage, Meghan’s mother was just 23. The report of Daily Mail stated that, they had opted for a Self-Realisation Temple at Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles. The reason was Doria’s fascination for alternative religions and yoga’. The temple was founded by Indian yogi Paramahansa Yogananda.
Brother Bhaktananda appeared in blazing orange robes and declared Meghan’s parents Thomas and Doria man and wife in the temple. Meghan’s parent’s not-so-contemporary wedding might be the reason for Meghan’s inclination towards yoga as her mother is a yoga instructor also.
However, in her first official royal appearance, Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle wore a dusky pink Flavia silk-crepe pencil dress from a British brand. As soon as pictures of Meghan wearing the Brand’s dress got released, people moved to the Goat website to found the dress of 590 pounds and it sold out immediately.
