He literally became Sanjay Dutt for the role. Ever since the teaser launch, the actor is being showered with praises for his performance. He literally heightened the expectations on the flick. Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor also was surprised to see his son doing the character of Sanjay so well.
However, Salman Khan was not very much impressed. In a statement, he recently said while promoting Race 3,“For Sanju, I was thinking why is somebody else playing this bit? The last 8-10 years. You cannot do justice to that. Sanju should have played the last bit.”
Other actor who agreed to what Salman said is Arshad Warsi. He also gave a similar statement recently. He said no matter what you do, you cannot be Sanjay Dutt. He believes no one can come close to what Sanjay Dutt in real life is.
