Paresh Rawal, the actor with the room full of talent seems to be the first choice of every director. As, we know he will be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Sanju’ where he plays the role of actor turned politician Sunil Dutt.
Earlier, Rawal confirmed that he will play the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a biopic which goes on floors in September, but before that, he is playing the role of one more real-life hero in Uri.
Vicky Kaushal-Yami Gautam’s upcoming film ‘Uri’ will have Paresh Rawal in the role of National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval and his transformation for the role is really appreciating.
He took to Twitter to share his pictures from the sets and wrote, “Essaying the role of the respected NSA in my next film” and “Proud to be playing our hero Mr. Ajit Doval in film URI by Aditya Dhar.”

Uri is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is based on Surgical strikes in Uri on September 2016.
However, earlier in an interview with Paresh talking about the Sanju, he said, “he was destined to play the role of Sunil Dutt. He revealed that once he received a letter on his birthday from Sunil Dutt on which the Movie Sanju has been made.”
He said, “There is a very special connection of Sunil Dutt with me. Back in 2005 on the May 25, I was doing some patchwork in Mumbai for ‘Deewane Huye Paagal’, I went to a hotel as I landed from the US to make a call to my home when my wife Swaroop said Dutt saab had sent me a letter. I asked ‘Whose?’ She said, Sunil Dutt saab.”
