The day has come finally for Kapoor, as they all were eagerly waiting to watch the trailer of their beloved Janhvi Kapoor’s debut film Dhadak. Directed by Shashank Khaitan Dhadak is also starrer with Ishaan Khatter in the lead.
Everyone missed out late actress Sridevi Kapoor on the trailer launch event, who was the mother of Janhvi and Khushi. Well, it is believed that from Dhadak Janhvi is moving forward the legacy of Sridevi.
We have seen how Kapoor parivar managed to support Janhvi on her big day. Arjun Kapoor was not present at the event but, he posted a heart-warming message on Instagram encouraging her to stay strong.
At the event of trailer launch, Khushi gets emotional when she hugs Janhvi Kapoor but, she managed to smile and hide her emotions and come off from the stage. Well, the reason is quite obvious like everyone the sisters are missing their mom.

Earlier in an interview with Vogue, Janhvi Kapoor mentioned how Khushi attached to her and said, “I’ve always been very bad at that. Khushi is very maternal with me. I am a full baby. She takes care of me. Now she comes and puts me to sleep sometimes.”
However, she was totally dependent on her mother and said, “I could always be the baby with her. When I’d wake up, the first thing I’d do was ask for her. I’d need her to put me to sleep sometimes and she literally had to feed me. The day before she left for the wedding, I had to shoot, but I couldn’t sleep, so I was like, I need you to come and put me to sleep. But she was packing, so by the time she came to me I was half asleep. But I could feel her patting my head.”
