Almost a decade has passed and we are still not over the iconic film ‘3 Idiots’ starring Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi, R. Madhavan and Kareena Kapoor. The film made a special space in our hearts and probably no film can ever replace it. The film was a hit because of the amazing storyline with which every youngster could relate to, the mind-blowing direction, and obviously the acting by our favourite stars.
It’s a time to rejoice as the sequel of our favourite film is finally happening. During the promotions of upcoming film Sanju, filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani revealed that he is working of the script of the sequel of 3 Idiots along with writer Abhijat Joshi.
However, he further stated that he will indulge himself into Munna Bhai 3 after he gets done with Sanju. Only then, he will start with the sequel of 3 idiots.
3 Idiots was based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel Five point someone. It was the story of two friends who go on a journey to find their long-lost friend. The film did wonders on the box office.
Talking about Rajkumar Hirani, he is busy promoting his upcoming film ‘Sanju’ which is based on the life of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, and Vicky Kaushal. The film will hit the screens on 29 June.
