Paris right now is one of the most happening places to visit. After France’s World Cup triumph, the capital city celebrated the triumph in style. The blast of firecrackers and fireworks filled the air while a stunning theme of “We are the champions, We are the champions” rang out from the Sacre Coeur in the north of the city to the Sorbonne on the Left Bank.
The celebrations were multiplied when husband-wife Beyoncé and Jay-Z put on their Run II tour visit at Paris’ Stade de France. Former First Lady Michelle Obama and Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles Lawson, were likewise in the participation. Both of them were seated in the first row and boy, they had a blast.
Former FLOTUS and Lawson chilled through the evening and showed off some serious moves while The Carters performed “Drunk in Love.”
Pics and videos of Michelle and Lawson having a ball of time at the concert were taken by the buffs which later went viral on the social media platforms.
Take a look at the pics and videos here:
One of the Twitter user shared the pic and wrote, “This is my #MondayMotivation Michelle Obama is living in her moment. She is obviously feeling good and most definitely is looking good. She is not concerned about what people might think or react. Honey, keep drinking that lemonade.#workwiththecoach.”
The Carters and the Obamas’ bond heads way back in time. As indicated by Rolling Stone, a year ago, previous President Barack Obama accepted Jay-Z into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, calling the rapper a genuine American unique in his discourse.
As for Beyoncé, she had previously performed for the former President Barack Obama’s initiation ball in 2009 with a version of Etta James’ FINALLY. Beyoncé was back at it again in 2013 and sang THE STAR-SPANGLED BANNER at Obama’s second term inauguration, as per the reports of TIME.
On Sunday, the Carters for the first time performed APESHIT live. Beyoncé made that big appearance and was later joined by Jay-Z, and together they set the stage on fire giving all a memorable night.
