Sanju 4th Day Collection Out. Even Big Budget Movies Don’t Earn This Figure On Monday

“Sanju” which is based on the life story of Sanjay Dutt and stars Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role released on June 29 and won hearts of not only viewers but also critics. Rajkumar Hirani’s magic worked again and the flick has already broken numerous records on the box-office.
It’s the biggest opener of the year and earned Rs 34.75 crore on the first day. Even more amazingly, in the first weekend only, the flick entered 100 crore club and became the highest first weekend earner of the year.
Despite the fact that Monday is non-holiday, “Sanju” showed good grip over audience and on the fourth day, it made a collection of whopping Rs 25.35 crore, totaling the sum to Rs 145.41 crore.
Day 1 – Rs 34.75 crore
Day 2 – Rs 38.60 crore
Day 3 – Rs 46.71 crore
Day 4 – Rs 25.35 crore
Total – Rs 145.41 crore
Here’s what Taran Adarsh tweeted:
Non-holiday / working day... Reduced ticket rates on weekdays... Yet, puts up a SPLENDID TOTAL on Day 4 [Mon]… This one is NOT going to slow down soon... Fri 34.75 cr, Sat 38.60 cr, Sun 46.71 cr, Mon 25.35 cr. Total: ₹ 145.41 cr. India biz.
Director Hirani kept special screening of “Sanju” which was attended by several Bollywood celebrities including Sanjay Dutt, Manyata Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and several others. After watching the movie, Sanjay Dutt couldn’t control himself and hugged the director and Ranbir while crying.
Other celebrities also took to social media to praise the movie and it’s indeed the power of word of mouth that the flick has been performing so well even on weekdays.

Taking the current figures into consideration, there seems to be no stopping for “Sanju” and it might easily enter 200 crore club this week only. What do you say?
