16 YO Saurabh Chaudhury Bags Gold In 10m AP,  19 YO Lakshay Sheoran Wins Silver In Men’s Trap
Indian Teenager Lakshya Sheoran has won silver in Men’s Trap at Asian Games 2018. On Monday, he shot a total of 39 in final to finish second on podium at the JSC – Shooting Range. With this, India had got its fourth medal. Lakshay is 19-year-old and he made his debut at Asian Games with a  historic win.
Moreover, it seems like the teenagers will rule the Asian Games 2018 event as another Indian Teenager has bagged Gold for India. 16-year-old Saurabh Chaudhary won Gold in 10m AP. Apart from winning the Gold, he has also set Asian Games record scoring 240.7 in Men’s 10m Air Pistol medal event.  The interesting fact is that he is so young and had taken up shooting just 3 years ago.
Abhishek Verma has won Bronze in 10m Air Pistol Event.
Earlier, Deepak Kumar bagged a silver medal in the Men’s 10m Air Rifle event while Apurvi Chandela and Ravi Kumar had won bronze in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event.
Vinesh Phogot has bagged a gold in Women’s Freestyle 50 Kg Event by beating Japan’s Yuki Irie. This s the 5th medal for India at the ongoing events and Vinesh is the first gold medal winner at the Asian Games 2018.
In quarterfinals, Vinesh had an easy win with 11-0 over South Korea’s Kim Hyungjoo. In her semi-finals against Daulatbike Yakshimuratova of Uzbekistan, the referees took just 75 seconds to declare her the winner by technical superiority (10-0). And in finals, she was leading the game by 4-0 before stretching it further to 6-2 to bag the yellow metal.
