2010 ‘s Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey: I think hardly people know this film of Deepika Padukone along with Abhishek Bachchan. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker this film was based on the life of Surya Sen and his comrades during the 1930 Chittagong uprising. Well, this is not well familiar in the audience but applauded by critics.
2005’s Mangal Pandey: The Rising: Ketan Mehta’s film starrer Aamir Khan, who gave life to the character in the film is based on the unknown story of Mangal Pandey, who was the first Indian to stand up against the British Raj’s oppression.
2005’s Bose: The Forgotten Hero: Another film directed by Shyam Benegal is Bose, this film was based on the life of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Well, it is also internationally acclaimed as it was premiered at the London Film Festival.
2003’s LOC: The epic war of Kargil fought by the Indian army in 1999 is covered in this film. The multi-starrer LOC is directed by JP Dutta and stars like Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan and, Saif Ali Khan and many others.
1997’s Border: This film is also directed by JP Dutta movie and based on the Battle Of Longewala( Indo-Pak war of 1971). Sunny Deol and Suniel Shetty starrer can give you goosebumps and make your heart fill with patriotism.
