As we all know that Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 is being remade with Erica Fernandez in the lead roles. Everyone is wondering whether Erica would be able to do justice to the show and to Shweta Tiwari’s character.
During an interaction with a leading daily, Shweta Tiwari stated that her daughter Palak Tiwari was offered to play the lead role in the upcoming show Kasautii Zindagii Kay.
Shweta Tiwari’s daughter Palak Tiwari is a pretty 16-year-old-girl. Since the time, she has been sharing several photos and videos of herself on her Instagram page people have been waiting to see her enter the showbiz. Earlier there were reports that Palak will be making her Bollywood debut with the film Quickie alongside Darsheel Safary of Taare Zameen Par fame. However, later on, Shweta confirmed that Palak will not be doing any movies and will be focussing on her studies.
Recently, during an interaction with a leading daily, Shweta made an interesting revelation that Palak was offered to play the role of Prerna in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, which Ekta Kapoor is currently getting back on the small screen. Tiwari stated, “Yes, I would have told her to go ahead and do it. In fact, everybody was saying, even from Balaji (production house) that she should do it. It was she who said ‘No mom, I don’t think I can do a daily soap and work day in and day out. I cannot do that at this point in time.”
Shweta further said, “She doesn’t want to divert herself from class 12th studies.”
The beautiful actor went on to say, “I never force anything on her or tell her what to do. She’s a very intelligent girl. She wants to be an actor; she has already decided that if she will do anything in her life then it will be related to this industry. But, she takes her own calls.”
Shweta was all praises for her teenage daughter and concluded by saying, “Palak is a responsible and intelligent girl. She doesn’t smoke or has any bad habits like other kids of her age. She never demands anything. Her deadline in the night is always 8.30pm, no matter where she goes. If it’s a night party like a birthday party, then her deadline is 11.30pm. She comes back without me having to fight with her. I have been very lucky that whenever I tell her something, she follows it. God has been kind.”
