Bigg Boss is India’s one of the most watched reality show. It is all set to return on the small screen on September 16 with a new set of contestants and of course the one without whom the show is incomplete, Salman Khan. The TRP’s of the show raise and set another bar for other shows as it on all-time high every year. The makers of the show have to come up with fresh ideas to keep the audience entertained. So, the reality TV show is having its grand launch in Goa rather than the usual destination, Lonavala.
Talking about the show Salman Khan told the media, “Earlier people used to ask me when I am getting married. Now people ask if I am hosting Bigg Boss. I think I will marry Bigg Boss.”
He also said that Bigg Boss is the longest relationship of his life.
When asked who makes the ‘vichitra jodi‘ with him Salman said, “Sanjay Dutt and me, and we hosted a Bigg Boss season together. So, he is the best choice for me. I will also choose Shah Rukh Khan. Not many know that he was the original choice to host Bigg Boss. He had a shoulder injury, so it came to me. I thank him for this.”
One of the real-life Jodi, comedian Bharti Singh and her husband, Harsh Limbachaya, were introduced by Salman onstage at the launch.
Salman told interesting details about the show. As per the reports, there will be 21 contestants this year. However, earlier it was rumoured that celebs and commoners will enter the house as jodis. But new reports suggest the celebrities will not enter in pairs. Instead, in all, five commoner pairs, five solo commoners, and six solo celebs will participate.
Last year, Salman charged Rs 11 crore per episode for the eleventh season of reality TV show Bigg Boss. This year, the amount might even go higher. However, the details have not been revealed.
The show expects Srishty Rode, Dipika Kakar, Shaleen Bhanot, Scarlett M Rose, Ssumier Pasricha, Subuhi Joshi and adult star Danny D to enter the Bigg Boss house this season.
“The only funda of the show is to find jodis with super vichitra qualities which make them unique,” says Salman.
