Cyclone Tauktae has wrecked havoc in several parts of the country, including Gujarat, Goa, and Maharashtra. The storm killed at least six people in Maharashtra and four more in Gujarat, and injured many more.

Some of these viral videos of Cyclone Tauktae’s impact on Mumbai, are apparently shot from the Taj Hotel. Tidal surges rattling the iron barricades and the ferocious wind roaring, can be seen in the videos, reminding viewers of the horrors of nature’s rage.
On Monday, the storm made landfall in Gujarat’s Saurashtra area. The next day, Cyclone Tauktae reduced to a ‘very severe’ cyclone and today is expected to be severely wet across Saur Maharashtra, Kutch, Konkan, and portions of Rajasthan, according to the India Meteorological Department. The meteorological service predicted that it will diminish into a ‘severe cyclonic storm’ by 11 a.m.
