After shattering several box office records in the global market, Marvel’s latest venture Avengers: Infinity War is repeating its success story in the Chinese market. The film opened to a thunderous response in China and collected staggering $ 150 million in just two days at the ticket windows including paid previews. Looking at the current scenario, we are expecting a humungous weekend of $ 225-250 million at the Chinese box office. If the film continues to strike gold in China, then Avengers: Infinity War will definitely achieve the $ 2 billion mark at the global box office.
The film has already shattered Black Panther’s record to become the highest worldwide grosser of the year. Coming to the Indian market, the film has set new benchmarks for a Hollywood film at the box office. It has become the first English film cross the Rs 200 crore mark in India and also holds the record of the highest opener of 2018 in India beating Bollywood biggies like Baaghi 2 and Padmaavat.
Avengers: Infinity War is produced by Kevin Feige and screenplay of the film is written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Directed by Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, the film features the ensemble cast of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Josh Brolin and Chris Pratt.
