Google Drive Looks A Lot Similar To The New Redesigned Gmail, Just So You Don't Get Confused

Google has decided to give its Drive a makeover, bringing it closer to the look of the new Gmail. The update doesn’t come with any new features, but it’s a big aesthetic difference from the Drive you’ve been used to for a while now.

For one, the background has been altered from grey to white for a cleaner look. Boxes and icons are also more rounder now and taller than before, in keeping with Google’s Material Design team. In addition, the Drive logo is now in a more prominent spot at the top left corner, with the custom company logo (for corporate accounts) in the top right. Icons have also been shifted around, with the Settings and Help Center icons now in the same top line as the search bar.

You probably won’t see the new elements just yet, because the update is gradually rolling out to all all users. You’ll likely have to wait a bit to see the changes, maybe a few days at most.
